Lookbook Lusts: Week 2

If I Were a Boy...

Guys where I live dress like total crap in my opinion. They all look the same, they all just wear what everyone else wears, and all they wear is jeans, tee shirts, polos, sneakers, and boat shoes. It's ridiculous if you ask me. And there's nothing wrong with dressing casually, but if you have no originality, you wear the same five shirts over and over, and your clothes don't fit properly, then no thanks, boys. If I were a guy I would have a distinct style. I would wear nice tee shirts, lots of tanks in the summer, well fitting jeans, hats, and nice shoes. If every guy had their own style like Adam Gallagher of I am Galla, or Gabriel Wulf, I would be happy.

Here Comes the Sun: Dressing for Heat

The heat can be a bummer, but with all of the summer options it's not so hard to decide what to wear. I put together an outfit built for heat today, since it was a particularly hot day here. It's got a bunch of color and a lot of character.

 

1. Tropical shirt - thrift store

2. High-waist shorts - thrift store (reconstruction by me)
3. Belt - little sister's closet
4. Shoes - gift from mom

Dream List: Nasty Gal Edition

Normally someone would call this a "Wish List," but the items that I'm going to put in this segment are so far out of my reach at the moment that I wouldn't even bother wishing for them. I'm really tight on money as of right now, since I don't have a job and I'm paying for a lot of stuff on my own. Here are some items from Nasty Gal that I could only ever dream of buying, but that I would die if I ever had. Is there anything out there that you want, but just can't afford right now?
